CSM63 Cities + Online
Cheers to the start of a new month! ☺ Simmer Down, starring Chen Xiao and Wang Xiaochen, just premiered on Hunan TV to garner a CSM63 average of over 1% to be this week’s top primetime drama. The story depicts a show host and a lawyer’s journey from rivals to lovers. It is also ranked in 8th place online.
Primetime shows such as Glory of Special Forces and The Imperial Age have come to a close this week to make way for a number of new dramas, and there’re a lot! Workplace romance Master of My Own featuring Lin Gengxin & Tan Songyun, Republican romance Love in Flames of War starring Chen Duling & Shawn Dou, Yun He Feng Liu starring Gong Zheng and melodrama Tomorrow Will Be Better starring the two ladies Chai Biyun and Li Qian have all premiered on primetime. None of the dramas have managed to surpass 1% in CSM63 ratings yet.
However, newly released CCTV dramas (not in the table below), such as home improvement drama Dream House starring Pan Yueming and Angel Wang as well as the historical drama The Wind Blows From Longxi starring Chen Kun and Bai Yu have also achieved CSM63 ratings above 1%, even reaching 1.5% just like Simmer Down.
On the other hand, Who Rules the World takes up the top spot in this week’s Vlinkage online rankings. Glory of Special Forces and the freshly released crime thriller Be Reborn starring Zhang Yi and Karry Wang follow in 2nd and 3rd. Master of My Own (5th) and The Wind Blows From Longxi (10th) are two other new dramas that have entered the list.
