Qin Dynasty Epic 大秦赋 is the fourth and final installment of The Qin Empire television series as it continues the story of the Qin state and follows Ying Yiren as he later becomes known as Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of Qin and the first ruler of a unified China. History buffs can rejoice at finally seeing the story that has taken several years in the making come to a proper conclusion.

It follows the Qin State during the late stages of the Warring States era. Ying Zheng, Lü Buwei, Li Si, Wang Jian and many formidable politicians work together to unite the six states under one rule. The Qin Empire becomes the first dynasty of Imperial China. Starring Edward Zhang Luyi and Duan Yihong.

You Complete Me (Dec 2 Tencent)
Gao Shan is a dangerous lover scheming revenge for the sake of his father. Qin Wo is his girlfriend with high IQ. Was their meeting due to an ulterior motive or an uncontrollable romance? Starring Hu Yitian and Bridgette Qiao Xin.
Invisible Life (Dec 9 Hunan TV, Tencent, iQIYI, MGTV)

Legend of Fei (Dec 16 Tencent)
A legendary story follows the heroine Zhou Fei who traverses the pugilistic world with her blade in hand. Starring Zanilia Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo.
Like a Flowing River 2 (Dec 20 Dragon TV, Zhejiang TV, iQIYI, Tencent, Youku)
Continuing the first season, Like a Flowing River II follows the story of Song Yunhui, Lei Dongbao and Yang Xun as they take part in China’s economic reform from the 1980s to the 1990s. Starring Wang Kai, Yang Shuo and Dong Zijian.
Dear Missy (Dec 21 Jiangsu TV, iQIYI)
A story about two girls with very different personalities who consider each other to be their best friend. Starring Li Yitong and Jin Chen.

The Message (Dec 24 Beijing TV, Tencent)
“Old Ghost” from the Communist underground has successfully intercepted Japanese military intelligence but couldn’t transmit the information at the most critical juncture. In danger of being exposed, “Old Ghost” must outsmart the enemy in order to send out the message. Starring Xu Lu, Janice Man, Zhang Zhijian and Tony Yang Youning.
The Confidence (Dec 26 MGTV)
A story that follows a finance prodigy who gets caught in a dangerous world of money after being forced to work as an assistant at a large company. Starring Elvira Cai Wenjing, Liu Kai and Peng Guanying.

My Best Friend’s Story (Dec 28 CCTV-8, iQIYI)
A story of two best friends set in Shanghai follows Jiang Nansun and Zhu Suosuo who come to grow and support each other throughout the golden era of their lives. Starring Cecilia Liu Shishi and Ni Ni.
