Li Yunrui’s Twin Brother Mistaken for the Actor Whilst Dropping by the Set

Talk about seeing double! Some fans recently mistook Li Yunrui for his twin brother who was visiting him on the set of his latest project. The moment he was spotted, some fans not knowing that it was Li Yunrui’s twin and not their idol affectionately called out bao bao (baby) before being corrected by other fans saying, “It’s not him.” To be fair, I reckon it’s hard to tell them apart especially with twin bro’s similar tall and slender physique. Throw in the fact that he was wearing a mask and cap? It’s easy to see why even the hard core fans were duped.  

Sharing a birthday on on August 24, 1996, the twins were adorably given monickers by their grandma – “Xiao Lin” (younger Lin) for Li Yunrui and “Da Lin” (older Lin) for his brother. Whilst they are twins, the actor once said in an interview that they’re the opposites when it comes to their personalities.  Li Yunrui’s brother is the introverted and steady type. Whilst the actor is the more impulsive type, his brother balances it out by being the voice of reason when he gives advise to his famous bro. Li Yunrui on the other hand is the more outgoing and extroverted one of the pair.

Having appeared in supporting roles in dramas like The Oath of Love, Rebirth for You and Love Like the Galaxy, Li Yunrui recently shot up to fame due to his male lead role in the popular drama Blossom opposite actress Meng Ziyi.
