iQiyi owned agency The Young Entertainment recently welcomed a brand new talent to the iQiyi family. 32-year-old Niu Junfeng who played the character Xin Jialiang in the Yang Zi and Xu Kai led modern drama Best Choice Ever was previously being managed by TH Entertainment before making the move to The Young.

At age 10, Niu Junfeng made his acting debut as a child actor in the comedy flick Home Has a Car 家有轿车released in 2002. But did you know that he began learning Peking Opera at a super young age and graduated from the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Opera? Since then, he’d amassed more than 50 projects in film and television across different genres in his 22 years in showbiz. Add in a couple more years and we can practically call him a showbiz veteran.

Out of his 50 or so works, 42 were dramas for the small screens which include supporting roles in Love O2O, Princess Agents, Yang Zi’s “twin” in the acclaimed war drama Battle of Changsha, main roles in Twenty Your Life On and Dear Mayang Street just to name a few. Now that he’d signed with online streaming giant iQiyi, the potential for him to explore more genres is even bigger.
