Now that Like a Flowing River 2 has also ended, it’s a new playing field as dramas with more serious themes continue to take over primetime. Luo Jin and Yuan Shanshan’s poverty alleviation drama A Land So Rich in Beauty dominated the TV rankings with CSM59 ratings reaching 3% this week. It is followed by workplace romance Beauty From Heart starring Zhang Luyi and Janice Wu Qian and the Daylight Entertainment produced Minning Town starring Huang Xuan which is yet another one about poverty alleviation.
In this week’s web rankings, My Best Friend’s Story ranks in 1st while the newly-premiered Minning Town ranks in 6th. In 10th place, we have Put Your Head On My Shouder co-stars Xing Fei and Tang Xiaotian reuniting for the rom-com My Little Happiness which is basically about two childhood friends falling in love! how adorable!
Aside from the usual top placers led by Legend of Fei stars Wang Yibo and Zhao Liying followed by Xiao Zhan in 3rd place, Rebel Princess actress Zhang Ziyi makes it to the list for top celebrities in 6th place while The World of Fantasy actor Fan Chengcheng claims the number 9 spot.

Rebel Princess is really good. Is it a web drama or tv drama? Why there’s no rating for this drama?
Despite the criticism about her, but ZZY is really amazing in carrying the emotion. I love her chemistry with his hubby. I love this couple. Hopefully it’ll be a happy ending.
