With the criticisms on the recent developments in the plot, Go Ahead‘s strong start that earned the show a rating of 8.6 in Chinese review-aggregator site Douban has dropped to 7.6. Nonetheless, the show continues to be the leading the drama on TV with CSM59 ratings over 2%. Other TV dramas like Under the Sun, the newly-premiered Qingqing Zijin at the 10pm slot and Knock on the Happiness Door have garnered CSM59 ratings over 1%.
Go Ahead also takes the lead from web drama Love and Redemption to be the most-watched drama online. Love Yourself which is yet another female-centric drama to premiere in recent months finds its way to 9th place along with leading lady Victoria Song in 7th.
Stars from their respective dramas also join the list. Aside from Go Ahead star Tan Songyun who currently takes the lead in the weekly celeb rankings, her co-star Song Weilong joins in 5th. Love and Redemption Cheng Yi in 3rd is also joined by his co-star Yuan Bingyan in 8th. Meanwhile, Dance in the Phoenix star Yang Chaoyue enters the list in 9th.
