As of December 23, 2024, Chinese singer-dancer-rapper Lu Keran (K Lu) has officially terminated her exclusive contract with South Korean agency TOV Entertainment. In a statement posted online, Lu Keran revealed that she had sent a breach correction notice to TOV Entertainment on December 8, 2024, requesting rectification of contractual violations. According to the C-pop idol, the company failed to address these issues within the 14-day grace period and refused communication. As a result, Lu Keran served a termination notice, officially ending their partnership.
The artist emphasized that TOV no longer holds the right to manage her career or claim any benefits under the terminated contract. Despite the challenges, she expressed gratitude to those who have supported her journey, saying, “The future is long, please take care of me.”

Lu Keran first rose to fame on Youth With You 2 in 2020, where she debuted as a member of the popular girl group THE9. Before that, she was also a member of Chinese girl group FANXYRED under TOV Entertainment. Known for her androgynous style and dynamic performances, she gained a dedicated fanbase.
