Jiro Wang recently held a live broadcast where he talked about celebrity marriages and why he thinks such an important happy event must be shared to everyone. “How can you secretly tie the knot and just let everyone find out later” the 43-year-old actor questioned.
Jiro Wang’s Thoughts on Secret Marriages
In his opinion, such an event must be made public to get everyone’s blessings. Why get married secretly and leave it to be secretly discovered? But oopsie, a moment later, Jiro seemed to realise something and backtracked. “No no that’s not right. I can’t say it like this” he sheepishly told the audience. After giving it some more thought, the idol turned actor scrambled for words when he said every family has their own set of obstacles. “Some people may want to keep a low profile when marrying” he said.
However when it’s his turn to get hitched, Jiro said he’d definitely want to let everyone know. In normal circumstances, since this is a once in a lifetime thing, he says it’s the right thing to do since it’s such an important life event.
Fahrenheit Members: Poster Children in Keeping Their Relationships Out of the Public Eye?
Keeping things on the down low seems to be a thing for former Fahrenheit members. In the past, he’s known to have pranked everyone by “revealing” he’s seeing someone only to later say that it was just a joke for April Fool’s. But who knows indeed? Meanwhile, Wu Chun managed to keep his marriage to wife Lin Liying and their kids under wraps for close to a decade. Despite all the scrutiny when he debuted as a member of Fahrenheit in 2005, media failed to uncover the fact that he and Lin Liying registered their marriage in 2004. That is, until he revealed it in 2013. Likewise, Calvin Chen is another member who managed to keep his decade long relationship with Joanne Tseng a secret. The former idol turned actor and host only went public with his marriage in 2020.

He’s such a self-opinionated, self-centered jerk. Every one has the right to manage their own personal affairs as they see fit according to their own circumstances. And obviously, he would never take the wishes and well-being of his partner into consideration.

I agree with Jiro. Marriages are happy occasions and if celebs really care about their fans and partners, they would announce this to the world. why hide it? who is it really benefitting?

the thing is it’s hard to marry a superstar simply because some fans do not agree with. they think stars are public property and must cater to their whims plus the actor’s contract or whatsoever. if you are an ordinary person marrying a superstar, make sure that the latter is willing to fight for you until the end. Take a look at Jay Chou and Kun Ling.

you’re absolutely right. he’s too focused on being morally right than being considerate with other’s feelings. something is definitely wrong with him. no wonder he doesn’t have someone right now.
