Maggie Huang Mengying recently took to social media to announce that her contract with Jaywalk Studio has ended and that she has left the agency.
The 32-year-old actress writes, “Time always slips away unintentionally, only to look back and find that it has been ten years. Thank you @Jiaxing Chuanmei (Jaywalk Studio) for the unforgettable time spent together for 10 years. Thanks to everyone at home (Jaywalk) for their care and cultivation that has allowed more people to know actress Huang Mengying. Now that the contract has expired, I also want to try to venture into the world. To meet is not the beginning, nor is separation the end. Wish for this big family to be better and better! In the future, Little Huang will continue to work hard with the family’s (Jaywalk) support and hopes, to keep moving forward.” Jaywalk Studio commented on Maggie’s post saying, “Jiayou (add oil!) ~ Wish you all the best in the future, to be better and better.”
Maggie Huang shot her first drama at 21 years old in 2012 when she played a supporting role in Yang Mi and Hawick Lau‘s A Clear Midsummer Night. She was among the earlier batch of Jaywalk artists like Dilraba Dilmurat and Bambi Zhu Xudan many of whom drew attention in 2017’s hit drama Eternal Love. It can be remembered that Li Xirui first left the agency in 2018 and the most recent departure was Vin Zhang Binbin in 2022. There are already rumors about who will be next.
