An online gossip columnist published a comic strip that tells the story of a fan who secretly dated a top male celebrity. Although no name was given, details point to Chinese actor Yang Yang. As the topic went viral, Yang Yang’s manager speedily issued a statement.
On August 6, online blogger “Melon Eating Girl Zhang Xiaohan” (吃瓜少女张小寒) published a Friday comic strip of a story she heard from a Netizen named Xiaowei. The blind item starts with Xiaowei becoming a fan of a male star in 2017 and getting a chance to meet him since she usually takes photos of stars. They began dating in 2019. He had broken up with a wealthy female celebrity since he suspects that her team was the one who exposed their relationship online.
Xiaowei would give the male star extravagant gifts while he had played the piano for her during a birthday fan meet. Xiaowei allegedly has photos taken with the male star, records of their WeChat conversations as well as a voice recording about how he asked her to take birth control pills after they had sex. On July 2021, he ghosted her.
Netizens speculate that the male star is none other than Yang Yang. Bridgette Qiao Xin who was rumored to be very wealthy was caught in repeated dating rumors with Yang Yang in 2019. In the comic, the fan visited the star in Dubai in March 2019. At the time, Yang Yang was indeed in Dubai to film the movie Vanguard. Yang Yang also played the piano during his birthday event but fans say it was in 2018 which basically contradicts the veracity of the blind item since he did not even have a birthday fan meet in 2019.
Yang Yang’s manager Jia Shikai angrily responds, “Just got to the office after getting off the plane, saw the baseless rumors online, relying on the fact that no name was mentioned to spout nonsense. Have entrusted lawyers to collect evidence, Yang Mao and the audience can just watch the story unfold!!!” As there seems to be an onslaught of rumors in C-ent as of late and celebrities taking action in response, many left comments on Jia Shikai’s posting urging him to sue or report the case to the police.

Well, regardless it is him or not…If he did not dump her after one date..or rape her. It should like a normal relationship that has run its course… I am sure many of us have experienced that. But it is best to breakup properly…But if the girl does not accept the breakup, then it is just time that will teach her to accept it. They did have a wonderful 2yrs together.. I hope the celeb in question did end the relationship like a responsible adult.
As for it being Yang Yang, this comic strip means nothing without evidence… Otherwise it is just marketing to promote her story.
