Ken Chu (Zhu Xiaotian) has fallen out with his F4 members and B’in Music, the company behind their “reunion”, which first happened at a Mayday concert in July 2025. Their anticipated December concert that’s supposed to feature F4 ultimately went on without Ken. And after some drama, it has ended with an apology.
What Happened?
Reports say organizers assessed Ken as an “uncontrollable factor” and replaced him with Mayday’s Ashin. Ken Chu claimed he was cut off unilaterally because he refused three requests from B’in Music. He mentioned grievances against a certian Aijie from B’in Music, yet wished his fellow members well. However, he has since started firing off repeated criticisms with the recent concert, from accusing the other three F4 members, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu, of “quietly making big money” to accusing B’in Music of working with scalpers.
Ken Chu Takes a Jab at F4
When interacting with his fans, Ken Chu came across a comment still eagerly hoping for a F4 reunion. He responded: “Probably not anymore… I’ve been cyberbullied to this extent, and the three of them still chose to stand on stage and quietly make money. If we really met again, do you think we could perform together without any resentment at all?”
He added, “Anyway, I can’t perform with that kind of feeling anymore.” When a fan said he shouldn’t let things become so tense, he remarked: “I already chose not to make public the three demands out of respect for Ashin…”
However, he also took a jab at Ashin online. When Ashin had spoken twice about Ken Chu’s absence saying it’s “temporary” and that he’s still working towards a full reunion for F4, Ken told fans it’s just “polite talk” that Ashin has said many times, yet he himself hasn’t heard anything.
Ticket Scalping Accusations
Similarly, Ken Chu took to his fan group to accuse B’in Music of “colluding with ticket scalpers to inflate prices and evade taxes,” “using affiliated companies to transfer funds,” and “forcing artists to lip-sync,” and even claimed he was “cooperating with an investigation by the Taiwan Affairs Office.”
Screenshots of his comments spread rapidly online. He had publicly named B’in Music for working with Chinese ticketing platform Damai. Damai, being the largest ticketing platform in mainland China and publicly criticized by an artist, became a hot topic online. Damai denied the claims, responding: “We have zero tolerance for scalpers…” Relevant Damai staff also told reporters: “We have already collected evidence regarding false information spread on the internet and reserve the right to take all legal measures to pursue legal responsibility against those who spread rumors.”

It Ends with an Apology
On Christmas Day, Ken Chu issued an apology on his social media accounts. He said that since the related “F4 reunion” incident, he has continuously suffered from online violence and harassment, bearing tremendous mental pressure. He added, “Under sustained malicious attacks and misinformation, I lost emotional control and made inappropriate remarks during private communications with others. These comments subsequently caused unnecessary speculation and objectively occupied public resources. For this, I sincerely apologize to the public.” He added, “In addition, statements I previously made involving “cooperation with the Taiwan Affairs Office” do not align with the actual situation. I hereby clarify this and sincerely apologize.”
He expressed deep regret and asked the public to respect the privacy of individuals and their families, adding that he would be more cautious with his words in the future. Meanwhile, Netizens noticed that the singer-actor has changed his social media settings. His Weibo account is no longer visible to the public.

What a narcissistic person !! He refused 3 requests from the organisers and to have talks. Then he acted all hurt that they have proceeded without him. And made all sorts of false accusations when it proved to be a successful concert even without him. Now he finds out he is not that important at all and the world doesn’t revolve around him. Maybe he thought his fans would make a big issue over his absence.
He deserves to be cut off forever.

Ken activtvated his victim card yet I found out from my frenemy in IG that he had attitude issues since the late 2000’s. He was even the first person to release a tribute for Barbie on her untimely death. But guess what, Ken did the worst screwjob of all screwjobs. He screwed himself up.
