Feud Starring Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng Premieres June 6

iQiyi and Huanyu’s upcoming xianxia drama Feud 临江仙 is all set to make its premiere on June 6, 2025. True to its title, the story follows the love hate relationship between an immortal pair who from lovers became enemies because of misunderstandings. After multiple heartbreaks and challenges, Li Qingyue (Bai Lu) and Bai Jiusi (Joseph Zeng) struggled between love and hate and eventually find that they’re part of a bigger conspiracy.

Even before its broadcast, the series has been drawing buzz due to its producer Yu Zheng’s continued praise for everything from makeup and graphics to posters and script. Yet, it seems Yu Zheng is equally determined to keep mum on the details. So whether the show actually lives up to the hype appears to be the big question and remains to be seen.

With little details spared, the fact that Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng Shunxi are starring in the drama for their first ever pairing is a big plus for the show. Bai Lu for one has been known to make the on-screen chemistry between herself and her co-star work no matter who it is. Joseph meanwhile has been steadily racking up points in the leading man category these days. It’d be exciting to see how their first time pairing will pan out.

Feud features Bai Lu and Zeng Shunxi with He Ruixian, Chen Xinhai, Zhao Yiqin, Zhou Jieqiong, Liang Yongqi, Zhao Zhaoyi and Zheng Kai rounding up the rest of the cast.
