Chinese actress Sun Zhenni sparked plastic surgery rumors over her recent public appearance for a brand event. Dressed in a pink dress, the 24-year-old star’s face drew unexpected attention. Some speculated she had undergone cosmetic procedures, claiming she looked “too different” and had something done, losing her natural appeal.
Ever since her supporting role in Till the End of the Moon, Sun Zhenni has moved up to leading roles, often taking on “foxy” characters given how well she pulls off sweet and seductive. After trending on the hot search over her face looking “puffy”, the actress wasted no time in responding. That very evening, she took to Weibo with a cheeky caption that seemed aimed at shutting down the rumors: “No, I haven’t lost my mind. Definitely going to drink more iced Americanos at home,” she wrote. She also shared several close-up shots of her face from different angles, including a video clip where she tells everyone, “Don’t worry about me,” zooming the camera in to show her features.

But with every public appearance comes intense scrutiny — and this time, she wasn’t the only one under the microscope. That same night, fellow actress Jin Chen also faced similar rumors, with people speculating she had a nose job again based on her recent public appearance. Others simply praised her beautiful look for the night.

I really don’t understand the public hypocrisy over this. ALL of these actors have stuff done to their faces (some more, some less) and it is mainly because of an audience that throws tantrums over even the slightest hint of a wrinkle or other signs of aging.
Since it is the audience who expects them to do this to create the illusion on of everlasting youth, why would it be so terrible to just admit it?
Personally, I would very much prefer actors who can still fully use their facial muscles to express themselves rather than pretty plastified faces.

If it wasn’t for her name, I wouldn’t have recognized her. She really has changed a lot since her idol days.
I have seen her pictures since her debut, and yes, she did plastic surgery to her face (especially her eyes and nose). She looked more like ex-NMB48 member Suto Ririka here.

Literally had too look her up ! This is the same actress from blossoming love the main one ? I actually don’t care if actresses do plastic sugary is rough world for them. But maybe doing in a way where they keep key features that makes them unique remain.
