There are several live action dramas, and I Am Nobody season 2, entitled I Am Nobody: The Showdown Between Yin & Yang 异人之下之决战碧游村, has finished a strong run. Though viewership could have been higher, it managed to hit the milestone of 10K on Youku heat index, not to mention the positive reviews it garnered for being a live action that does justice to its source material. Amid speculations about a possible I Am Nobody Season 3, director Derek Hui addressed rumors circulating online about cast changes, particularly regarding the character Feng Baobao, played by Wang Yinglu.
In a recent interview with entertainment platform Yuli, Derek Hui expressed surprise over claims that Feng Baobao might be recast. “I don’t know where this news came from,” he said. “If I were to continue with this project, how could I possibly replace her? Anyone who loves the I Am Nobody wouldn’t think of replacing Baobao.”
His comments have surely reassured fans; however, the director revealed that there are no concrete plans for season 3 yet. But given how enthusiasm surrounding the franchise remains strong, particularly after the success of I Am Nobody 2, fans are no doubt hopeful that the show’s commitment to maintaining the cast will carry over into future seasons. After all, there were also rumors that main protagonist Peng Yuchang wouldn’t resume his role for season 2, yet almost everyone returned.

I just finished watching the season 2 few minutes ago and it was out of this world right now am hoping for a third season and I really hope that chulan, Bao bao, and Wang ye shouldn’t be replaced

I just finished watching S2, and, maybe apart from some overuse of quite inferior CGI, it continued to grab me, for the story of course, but also for the way the story is approached and scripted, which gives a wide window into deep-held beliefs in Asian cultures, and Asian ways of thinking. As an expat in SEA, I really appreciate the insghts that help me in my daily life here

Just watched season 2. Hopeful for Season 3, I love the chemistry of Feng Bao Bao and Chulan. Kudos to the whole casts. I will patiently wait for S3.

The Best Sci-Fi Fantasy Drama, I’ve seen I’ve seen in quite some time!! So many interesting characters, with their own unique powers and backgrounds. At times, it might have seemed too chaotic, but that’s what’s made this drama work so well. By joining forces through the chaos they came out triumphant and unscathed! I hope to see part 3 soon. Either way, will have to read the complete manga when it’s finally finished. 👍
