29-year-old Mario Ho just made Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 list.

At 29-year-old, it looks like Mario Ho is on track to meet his personal goal of hitting a net worth of over 100 million when he turns the big 3-0 next year. The son of the late gambling mogul Stanley Ho is the founder of the e-sports company Jingweiwu Group. And as of this year, he has become the youngest founder of a NASDAQ-listed company from Asia.

When asked about what sort of goals he will set to mark the big milestone, Mario said he wasn’t too keen on sharing his goals with the public seeing how it will cause him unnecessary anxiety. Nevertheless, he did let slip his hopes that at the age of 30, he would hit the small goal of having a net worth of over 100 million through his own efforts.

As the son of the late casino tycoon Stanley Ho, everyone knows him as a fuerdai or a rich second generation. However the businessman shared more than once that he does not want to rely on his family’s money. Before marrying his model wife Xi Mengyao in 2019, he made it clear to her that he is not a fuerdai with unlimited means. “Don’t think that I’m a rich second generation with an unlimited credit card because I said I don’t take my family’s money. I’m not that kind of person. I want to do things on my own. In the next few years you have to work with me and work really hard. I really want to start a business.” Mario shared his wife said working hard is not a problem as long as they work together.
