On November 3, the 26-year-old Mario Ho who is the son of late Macau casino billionaire Stanley Ho and his Chinese supermodel wife Ming Xi Mengyao, announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl.
Mario shared a snapshot of the family holding hands, as well as a photo of a family of four (Naruto!) on Weibo with the caption: “The Earth welcomes you, our zhangshang mingzhu (掌上明珠) – Mom, Older Brother, and Dad.” “Zhangshang mingzhu,” literally means “a pearl in the palm” in Chinese which is an idiom to mean that their daughter is precious.
Ming Xi also shared the same photo with the caption, “Hello everyone, the little ones are still a bit shy now~.” The baby’s name is reportedly Romee as revealed by Mario’s cousin, Lawrence Wang.
Mario Ho and Ming Xi announced their marriage in July 2019, two months after his grand proposal to her at a Shanghai mall. Their two-year-old son Ronaldo was born three months later in October 2019.
