Taiwanese actress Joe Chen and her non-showbiz Malaysian husband, Alan Chen, who’s said to be a fuerdai (rich second generation) celebrated their wedding on September 22, 2024. It was held at the luxurious Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas in Malaysia. The couple, who registered their marriage in 2022, chose this date to commemorate their 5th anniversary together.

Their beachside wedding pictorial featured the couple in a variety of stunning outfits such as Alan in both a classic white and a sharp black suit, while Joe dazzled in multiple looks, including her bridal gowns. Their wedding photoshoot was set against the serene backdrop of Langkawi’s beach. Joe’s intricate wedding dress featured a deep V neckline with a corset-style design, adding a touch of drama to her bridal look.
Celebrations with Close Friends
Among the guests were Joe’s closest friends, including members of the Taiwanese girl group 7 Flowers like Joyce Chao and Doris Lai who served as her bridesmaids. The bridesmaids donned soft pastel dresses, perfectly complementing the tropical setting. They not only appeared in playful photos with the bride but also her groom. Other guests who are reportedly attending include actors Ming Dao and Joe Cheng as groomsmen. Ming Dao’s son is also the ring bearer.
