As far as showbiz debuts go, Kenny Bee‘s second daughter Blythe Chung Yee surely couldn’t have asked for anything better. Not only did the 19-year-old take to the stage at a musical variety show in the mainland last month. She also received a rousing thumbs up from her famous dad and all of his superstar friends such as the legendary Jacky Cheung, Tony Leung and Shu Qi just to name a few. Now that she’s all grown up, Blythe recently attended her very first industry event with her dad where she hung out with stars such as JJ Lin, Jackson Wang and actor Li Xian.
71-year-old singer-actor Kenny Bee has one son and three daughters. Amongst them, Blythe, his daughter with second wife Fan Jiang, is following in her dad’s footsteps to become a singer. Wearing a cute textured black strapless dress, Blythe took to social media to share “this is the first time I’m attending a public event as an adult. My big brothers who I haven’t seen for a while all had a fantastic time at the event in Shanghai“. Dad Kenny seems to agree, commenting the same. He added that Li Xian, his eldest daughter Chloe Bee‘s idol who’s all over her walls also made a handsome appearance… “It was a happy evening with good wine and beautiful people” he gushed.
Not to be left out, Chloe who was unable to attend the event and meet Li Xian who became her idol because of Go Go Squid! cheekily shared photos of herself photoshopped beside Li Xian on the pics taken of her dad and Li Xian sitting side by side. “The photoshop pic you all asked for is here! I tried my best hahaha . I situated myself straight into big brother Li Xian’s arms.”
Previously, Blythe announced her intent to pursue a career in the entertainment industry just like her Cantopop star dad. This progression is practically a no-brainer since her love for performing was evident early on when she joined her dad on stage to perform.
