Choi Siwon Reunites With Eddie Peng and Ivy Chen at Respective Cast Gatherings in Taiwan

South Korean star Choi Siwon has recently been staying in Taiwan for an extended period to film his new drama based on the Line webtoon Do Not Wake Up (要是未曾相遇就好了). And it’s led to a get together with fans at a hotpot restaurant in Taipei where he made a surprise appearance as well as some nostalgic reunions.

Choi Siwon shared a group photo on social media from a gathering with the team behind the 2015 sports action film To the Fore and co-star Eddie Peng. He wrote, “After completing a project together, what remains is not just the work itself, but also this warm bond that remains unchanged and continues even after a long time has passed.”

Before that, he also had a reunion with the cast and crew of Skip Beat!, the 2011 live-action drama based on a popular Japanese manga of the same name. It’s a drama that stars Ivy Chen who’s now a mother of two. Choi Siwon wrote, “Back then, none of us had children. Now, everyone has grown up and we are all together again. Seeing these familiar faces again after such a long time made me happy and touched, but at the same time, there was also a strange feeling that is difficult to put into words.” Siwon’s fellow Super Junior member Lee Dong-hae who played the second lead couldn’t attend the reunion due to his concert, but Siwon remembered to include a photo of him in the group shot. Skip Beat! was Choi Siwon’s first foray into a Taiwanese drama and he’s back 15 years later.
