Hong Kong actress Selena Lee and her former fiancé Anson Cha drew attention after participating in the Chinese reality show See You Again 5. In the finale, the 44-year-old star chose to “get off the car,” deciding to give themselves another chance to see how the relationship might develop. At the wrap party for See You Again, host Li Weijia had asked about their relationship status, something many were no doubt curious to know. Selena Lee responded, “We’ve separated, we didn’t get back together.” She explained that they met up afterwards because she had promised they’d have a meal together. She acknowledged that he really tried hard to change. He explained that they finished filming See You Again 5 in August and met up for a meal at Selena Lee’s favorite restaurant at the end of September. When he saw her, she was glowing, the happiest he’s ever seen her. Selena spoke animatedly about her work, and he realized that the emotional distance between them had already formed. That’s when he came to the realization, “I should let go.”

Is this not the same man that never follow her to any of her many hospital visits ? And also but her a rubbish engagement ring just to taste it ? Ignored her all the time where she felt lonely? So again why would any say that they thought they would get back together ? Did the man not say clearly with his actions he did not like her? i am genuinely hoping she “got off the car” initially to give him some face before truly breaking it off. To her, she needed closure and maybe the show gave her the clarity she really wanted. He wasn’t the type to communicate, so she had to force it out of him. Even if she had wanted to give them a second chance, how he behaved during the show proved he’s just not worth it. I’m happy she’s not blinded by his non-existent potential anymore. if my partner misses all of my surgeries, they’ll be gone from my life.
