Later, all three returned to China—though their paths diverged. Cheng Xiao became a mentor on a survival show, while Meng Meiqi and Wu Xuanyi competed as contestants. It worked out well for them, as they placed first and second respectively, securing spots in the C-pop girl group Rocket Girls 101.
