Taiwanese actress Ady An’s business tycoon husband, Levo Chen Ronglian, former head of the Tak Chun Group, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by Macau court and a fine amounting to RMB 1.67 billion. Chen is convicted of illegal gambling and other charges.
Ady An has completely stepped away from the limelight and even her social media accounts since her husband’s arrest in 2022, focusing on her family. Media reports the 44-year-old actress was spotted moving back to Taiwan this year with her two children with Levo Chen whom she married in 2017. Rumors of Ady considering a return to the screen circulated last year, particularly regarding her potential appearance in Ride the Wind 2024. However, these plans never materialized.
While Ady has not publicly addressed the latest developments, she has kept her strong circle of friends and was recently spotted at Joe Chen’s wedding. According to ETToday, Ady’s close friend Kimi Hsia Yu-chiao also had said this to say: “As her friend, I really feel sorry for her. In fact, the whole thing has nothing to do with her, but no matter how hard these years have been, she is still so strong in raising two children by herself. As a mother and as a woman, Yixuan is one of the bravest I have ever seen. We will always be by her side, giving her support and love, and thank you all for your concern for her.”
