This week’s web rankings is dominated by sci-fi thriller Reset starring Bai Jingting and Angel Zhao Jinmai. In second and third place are military drama Ace Troops and the newly released romance drama Because of Love starring Wallace Chung and Li Xiaoran. The latter is a story about a single mother whose son has heart disease and her former lover who’s a heart surgeon.
Other shows that have made the list are romance drama Perfect Couple landing in 8th as well as Republican romance City of Streamer starring Jing Tian and Timmy Xu in 10th place.
Among the television dramas, Perfect Couple ranks first place with an average CSM63 rating for the week of around 2.7%. Ace Troops which ushered in its finale pulled in around 2.7% in average ratings for the two days it aired. Sports drama Beyond about a young woman whose lifelong ambition is to compete in short track speed skating staas Teresa Li and Hu Jun. The show which first aired on CCTV is now also earning subsequent broadcasts on Beijing TV and Anhui TV (not covered below as we only include first broadcasts).
