Adapted from author Mi Bao’s novel of the same name, City of Streamer is a 45 episode series which stars actress Jing Tian as the courageous school teacher Feng Shizhen. Since shooting her fantasy drama Rattan with co-star Vin Zhang in 2019, Jing Tian hasn’t been very active in the industry this year so it’s nice to see her back in front of the cameras with a brand new project. Meanwhile, Timmy Xu Weizhou tries out another genre as he co-stars in his very first Republican drama to play the seemingly indifferent and arrogant young master Rong Jia Shang.
