Massive changes are taking place in C-Ent as China aims to clean up “toxic fandom culture,” and one of the new regulations is a ban on all celebrity rankings. Only rankings of music, film and television works are allowed with emphasis on the work itself and not on the actors. Vlinkage has discontinued their celebrity rankings.
Same as last week, The Ideal City continues to dominate on television with a weekly average over 2.5% in CSM63 ratings. It is followed by the family drama The Bond which has garnered a weekly average also over 2%.
While new dramas have made it to the online rankings, Crime Crackdown continues to rank 1st. Dear Parents make it back to the list in 8th place. Mango TV’s sci-fi thriller Pandora’s Box starring Zhang Rui and Joseph Chang which follows a physics genius as he investigates his mother’s mysterious car accident lands in 9th. Ju Jingyi and Zheng Yecheng’s fantasy romance drama Love Under The Full Moon enters the list in 10th. It tells the story of Lei Chuxia who loses her memory and time-travels to the world inside Xu Xiaodong’s phone.
