A number of new dramas have premiered this week, but first of all, congrats to Broker for finally taking the lead on television with a weekly average of 2.310%. In second is Love is True garnering 2.306% in CSM59 ratings for its finale on Dragon TV. Three dramas take over the show’s primetime slots on Dragon TV and Beijing TV such as workplace-romance The Ideal City starring Betty Sun and Mark Chao with an average over 2%. Crime Crackdown starring Sun Honglei and Lay Zhang averages 1.78% for its first week which still has room for improvement though it starts strong online to land in second place. Dream of Chang’an (Stand By Me) also falls in the same range with a weekly average of 1.81% while the newly-premiered family drama Dear Parents starring Yan Ni and Wang Yanhui averages 1.49%.
On the other hand, You Are My Glory continues to lead in online rankings with co-stars Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat still topping celebrity rankings. TV dramas Crime Crackdown and The Ideal City place in 2nd and 5th respectively. Song of Youth drops one spot down to 3rd place. The latest wuxia remake of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils starring Tony Yang and Bai Shu enters the list in 8th.
Additionally, Dream of Chang’An actor Cheng Yi places 4th this week followed by Crime Crackdown actor Lay Zhang Yixing in 5th.
