Dilraba Dilmurat and Wu Lei’s live adaptation of the popular manhua series The Long Ballad 长歌行 made its surprise premier on March 31st. And although we all know Dilraba and Wu Lei’s characters will end up to be the couple viewers will be shipping and CP-ing, that clearly didn’t stop Netizens from cheekily christening Dilraba and co-star Zhao Lusi with quite a few CP names after the tearful scenes of the two cutting ties.
Dilraba Dilmurat and Zhao Lusi play princesses and cousins in the series. However, unlike her cousin, Dilraba’s character was forced to disguise herself as a man to avenge the death of her family.
Moving past the budding romance between Li Chang Ge and Wu Lei’s Ashina Sun which we all know is a given, the relationship between Chang Ge and Le Yan also adds a new layer of complexity that has drawn a lot of viewers in. And although the pair are as different as night and day when it comes to their personalities, witnessing the growth of their characters as fate (and circumstances) continue to test their relationship appears to be something viewers are also excited to see. So much so that they’ve even bestowed upon the unlikely pair their very own CP hashtags.
Ba巴 Si思 Guang光 Niang年, Di迪 Lu露”or even “Li丽 Lu露 Xiu修” which when translated to English spells Lelush after the popular Chuang 2021 Russian trainee … Take your pick amongst the potential appellations Netizens creatively came up with by mashing together Dilraba 迪丽热巴 and Zhao Lusi’s 赵露思 names. Whereas the scenes of Chang Ge with the daughter of the man responsible for the demise of her entire family in his ambition to be King were quite emotional ones, I guess everyone can all use some levity after the tension heavy scenes between the two cousins.
It astonishing that Dilraba Dilmurat, has not grown as an actor. Even for this ridiculous series, her portrayal of a daughter/princess forced into disguising herself as a man and going into the military is one dimensional. She’s wooden and stiff, making her unbelievably in the role, pretty yes believable no.
Aw the idol worshipper is back. I really wonder how good your idol can act because it’s totally like the same thing.
Where I go you stalk? Am I your idol, ? that would tickle me pink, lol.
Hey why are you being rude I’m watching The Long Ballad I love her Chemistry with Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi and I think that Dilreba’s acting is great and on point. so stop saying she’s wooden and stiff because she’s clearly not. If you can do a better job than her then start talking if you can’t then don’t talk crap. ?
@whatbro, Hmm didn’t know having an opinion, my own opinion was “rude”. And I did “start talking” hence my post. But I think you need less time watching and more time thinking. You made no sense with your rambling. I am confused you tell me stop saying things but then demand that I start talking, what’s a smart ass to do? hehe.
If Dilraba can successfully be an actor, that’s something she should be proud of… Let’s not criticise anyone and just do our best ourselves. How would you feel if you saw this post and you were in Dilraba’s shoes? Have some respect!
People who don’t like her will always find something wrong. Just don’t watch
I like this series because it has a strong female lead giving a message that in the game of war and survival, women can rise in the occasion and conquers odds and not just sidelined by men. I also love the team-up of Leo Wu and Dilraba here. They looked awesome. Leo Wu used his sexy eyes to greater advantage throughout the series. It has a hanging finale. I hope there’s season 2. 😍

Scold to Netizen
It is really astonishing that Netizens narrow minded / racist Chinese never grow up and open the eyes to the world. When you trash and tarnish the actress with your judgment, it obviously shows how Chineses’ netizen discriminate against the minorities. Dilireba is talent young woman. The age is no matter, she looks young than her age comparing to yang mi and many young actress look older than age. Wu lei , he looks old for and not handsome. This story line is building by female’s leader. Wu lei expresses only few emotion and so boring for me. Many Chinese actor and actress are popular only Chinese market including Wu lei, and female costar, but Dilireba across the countries Europe, Asia, America. Reba ‘ s beauty is international and beyond only Chinese market.. Multi languages, diverses ethnic, dancing and musician : Reba’ s multi skill are captured by many international fans. She is humble. China should be happy to have her as represent of diversity. Rest of the world support diversity not suppress the talent like crazy fan club of costars or Chinese netizen..

Just A DramaFan
Loving this drama! Li Chang ge is such a cool character and Dilraba is perfect for the role. I wasn’t expecting to like the main CP so much but I do. They were so cute at the live stream events today.
As for the Lelush CP lol. I guess after so much BL people now want GL too. Reba and Lusi do have chemistry with everyone so it’s not surprising they have chemistry with each other too.
The cast and crew worked so hard for this and there are many plot details I hadn’t noticed till I saw a wonderful thread on Twitter. I hope more people check out this wonderful drama and it doesn’t become an underrated gem. I wish all the cast of this drama lots of success.
Dilraba surprised me with just how good she is in this drama and how much she embodies and portrays the stoic ChangGe. I confess that after watching Dilraba act in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms I was quite turned off by her acting and never could watch her in another drama. I was just going to check this out because of Leo Wu, of whom I’m a huge fan of; but I was absolutely blown away by Reba’s acting and astonished at her range of acting skill. Let me just say Tomboyish Dilraba beats fluffy Princess-like Dilraba any day of the week. Now I’m hooked on the drama, due to the unexpected twists of the plot and excellent acting from the cast that I can hardly wait for the next episode.
Dilreba fans I’m sorry but I’m afraid I’ll have to agree with @seriously on this. Coming fresh from her performance in the flames daughter, which was lacklustre, it’s sad to say that her acting hasnt improved which is very dissapointing as she’s not lacking in visuals. Maybe she needs more challenging roles and good pairings as she’s getting now. It’s either that or my heart is cut from diamonds, bcoz from all the emotional scenes so far, my eyes have been dry through it all.
Dilraba has improved alot. She is perfect for this role. Her beauty also shines! People are just hating on her they always saying. “She is beautiful, but can’t act.’ just don’t watch. Haters always going to hate, even when she won so many awards. People always can’t appreciate!
You Know It
Agree – if she is so terrible why does everyone watch? Can’t please everyone but let the viewer ratings speak for themselves. Your criticism is just an opinion after all but you end up spreading negativity rather than find someone you like to watch and speaking positively on that. Your negativity doesn’t improve anything, just puts bad emotions out there – unless you’re the director move on buddy. Live and let live.
I seen some pretty stupid posts on here, but yours is at the top. Spreading negativity lol, just because my opinion and criticism is not complementary to the series does not make negative. It is your reaction and others, that believe it to be. Why should only the director have an opinion? That is utmost ignorant comment, as a viewer I am sure the director or producers welcome all feedback on their work. They might not agree with my comments but that comes with the territory when you put your work out for public consumption. Everyone here seems to want to live in an utopia where only rosy comments exist, I prefer to live in the real world where people have different opinions and can share them.
I think she has potential because I saw it in Love Designer, she nailed these minute expressions and surprised me by her improvement. She had a drunk scene in the beginning and I thought it was one of the more convincing drunk scenes I’ve watched. Idk what it was in that show that brought out the noticeable improvement but I think it could have something to do with the script, etc.
Stay pressed hater. Your first comment stinks hate from 10000 miles away. This article is about the CP. Not your dumb hate for Dilraba.
Omg could you imagine a girls love drama with Dilraba and Zhao Lusi as the leads?? That would be so good, holy crap. There are so many boys love dramas coming out, please bless us with a f/f story.
