Xiao Zhan Leads Survival Fantasy Drama “The Infinite 10 Days” as Genius Strategist Qi Xia

Adapted from the hit novel Ten Day Ultimatum, the suspense fantasy drama The Infinite 10 Days 十日终焉 has begun filming at Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis. The Limnon-Pictures and Tencent-produced drama stars Xiao Zhan as the highly intelligent male lead, Qi Xia, and brings together a top-tier creative team alongside an all-star cast. It includes Wei Daxun, Hu Xianxu, Li Zhiting, Li Zefeng, Vanda Margraf, Qiu Tian and many others with special appearances from Lyric Lan Yingying and Mao Xiaotong.

It boasts a a big-budget, with a significant amount going into world-building, as the story takes place in a fictional reality. A group of ordinary people from different backgrounds suddenly find themselves in the “End World,” where they undergo a life-and-death cycle every ten days. With each cycle, participants lose their memories. To escape, they must continuously take part in dangerous challenges overseen by the “Twelve Zodiacs.” Trapped in this deadly loop, Xiao Zhan’s Qi Xia is a swindler and the core strategist of the story. He is driven by a single obsession to return to the real world to save his wife. As the cycles repeat, some participants begin to awaken supernatural abilities.

The Infinite 10 Days is promising to be a very interesting C-drama with a dystopian survival theme you don’t usually see though it seems we are actually getting more of these now. The novel sounds amazing, so it’s just a matter of adapting it well for dramaland. Fingers crossed. The series is directed by Derek Hui and written by Jiang Feng, both of whom worked on the highly lauded live-action series I Am Nobody.
