Netizens noticed that a recently posted photo by Song Yi appeared to feature a restaurant similar to one Bai Jingting had shared back in May of last year. It fueled speculation that the two might still be seeing each other. Others dismissed it as a coincidence, arguing that the photos were taken in different branches of the same restaurant. Amid the online discussion, Song Yi suddenly changed her background photo to a cute illustration of cartoon characters Yier and Bubu having a romantic dinner together. Meanwhile, the hashtag “Song Yi seems to have unfollowed Bai Jingting” on platforms such as Douyin also trended today, leading to more questions. The bear pic was actually a well-known representation of her pairing with Cheng Lei, as many netizens and shippers had compiled their similar “bear interaction” moments while Shadow Love was airing. She definitely changed the background on purpose to assert her presence, especially since the How Dare You leads were having a Weibo Live that same day.
