Cheng Yi Studio has released an official statement, revealing for the first time that actor Cheng Yi and his family have endured prolonged and extreme stalking and harassment, which has now escalated into serious threats to their personal safety. The details shocked many, as the behavior reflects a form of extreme anti-fan conduct, going beyond conventional “sisheng” (obsessive fan) stalking.
His Car Was Vandalized
Certain individuals allegedly obtained Cheng Yi’s private itinerary through illegal means and repeatedly engaged in acts like tailing, surrounding, and attempting to force the car to stop, severely infringing upon his normal life and personal safety. Things escalated today at 6:40 a.m. The individual involved illegally entered the area where Cheng Yi’s vehicle was parked, splashed red paint on the car, and sprayed vicious and insulting words.
The studio revealed that their inbox has continuously received a large number of emails containing personal threats. At 2:00 p.m., while the individual was being handled by public security authorities, they became emotionally unstable and openly issued threats, shouting, “Go ahead and sue me if you dare,” in an attempt to intimidate.
The studio has submitted all relevant evidence to authorities, emphasizing that the individual demonstrates a “dangerous tendency toward committing physical harm”. They also requested for mandatory measures to prevent the situation from further escalating.

It’s an individual or a few individuals. That’s personal vendetta. Not an anti-fan. An anti-fan does hurtful things to one celebrity in order to promote his own favored celebrity. An they usually engaged in group actions utilising social media.
Since it has happened a number of times, like tailing and stopping the car, why didn’t they lodge a police report earlier? There are cameras on virtually every street corner, traffic lights and lampposts in all the big cities in China.

@Kai May be they already have but in all honesty punishments for such behavior are minimal even in China. Mostly just monetary, fines nothing else. Celebrities cannot really do much.
