Hong Kong actor William Chan and Chinese supermodel He Sui just surprised everyone with their joint announcement that they’ve become parents to a baby boy. They simultaneously posted on Weibo, “Dad, Mom, and him,” tagging each other and sharing photos of the couple showing the ultrasound, He Sui’s pregnant belly, and a glimpse of their newborn son. The announcement instantly dominated Chinese social media, topping the hot search and gaining millions of views.
The couple’s relationship timeline has been a mystery to many. William Chan and He Sui were first seen together at a Shanghai event in 2019, and romance rumors intensified in 2021 after they were spotted returning to the same residence in Beijing. Although breakup reports surfaced in 2023, paparazzi photos later suggested they had reconciled. In late 2024, the two were spotted vacationing together in Japan.

Throughout her pregnancy, He Sui gradually withdrew from public view. She stopped posting on social media earlier this year, declined fashion events, and her studio quietly paused operations. Meanwhile, sharp-eyed fans noted that a swimsuit photo she posted months ago already hinted at her baby bump. William Chan, true to his private nature, never confirmed their relationship publicly until now.
William Chan, 40, has previously expressed a wish to become a father before reaching that age, a wish now fulfilled. It appears he waited for his hit drama Love’s Ambition to wrap as it ended just days before the baby announcement. He Sui, 36, is one of China’s top international supermodels and a former Victoria’s Secret model.

I don’t know what to make of William Chan. I always felt he was the token guy to go to whenever they needed to insert a Cantonese person to maintain political correctness. Itis not like they hired him for his nonexistent acting skills but to simply be the token political correctness cast. Plus most of the time he plays a scumbag villain while they gave the ML role to some other actor who doesn’t speak Cantonese. USA tries to maintain political correctness and so does China.
Banu
are you okay?
Dix
lol are you like the MAGA person but instead China? what are you on about?

Legend of Ravaging Dynasties 1 & 2. Almost like the role of lead male antagonist had to be filled up by a Cantonese person. And the one they thought up of right away was William Chan.
For USA, Blacks & Latinos have to be cast so their shows and movies look politically correct.
For China, Taiwanese, Uyghurs, and Cantonese must have a presence in each movie or TV show to maintain political correctness!
