The legendary action star joined the singer for a duet of Need Someone By My Side and Friends, but it wasn’t just their performance that caught the audience’s attention. The duo sealed their moment with a kiss on the lips. The audience reacted with loud cheers, and within minutes, the video was circulating online.

This comes shortly after Jackie Chan was criticized at a recent event in Macau, where he was caught on camera touching singer Joey Yung’s bare back. The gesture drew accusations of him being overly familiar, with netizens blasting him for crossing boundaries until Joey Yung’s manager Mani Fok defended that the gesture had been completely innocent. In the meantime, his latest concert appearance has shifted attention to his long-standing friendship with Wang Leehom whose career is on the mend following past controversies.

The Shenzhen concert was not the first time they have shared a kiss onstage. Their connection dates back to 2009 when they worked together in the film Little Big Soldier, playing father and son. Since then, their bond has often been displayed in public, sometimes through playful onstage kisses like this. In the past, Jackie even said, “If only Leehom were my son.”

After the concert, Wang Leehom thanked the actor in a heartfelt post, describing him as a lifelong mentor and best friend. Likewise, Jackie Chan said he was proud to see the singer’s growth and that the evening at the “best place” with “the most perfect Leehom” had been “unforgettable.”
