While enjoying a trip to Paris for Fashion Week, Chinese actress and former Youth With You 2 contestant Flora Dai Yanni experienced a terrifying incident. The 31-year-old actress was involved in a shocking theft, after a thief smashed their car window before running off with her makeup artist’s bag—all while they were still inside!
Dai Yanni says it only took a few seconds for the man to smash the passenger window with a window breaker leaving them no time to react at all. Fortunately, even if the thief managed to do away with her makeup artist’s bag containing bank cards and cosmetics, their passports and important documents were safe. For the most part, everyone was alright save for her makeup artist who sustained cuts from the broken glass. But can you believe this all went down whilst they were on the highway?
Whilst sharing her ordeal on social media, Flora Dai Yanni also took the opportunity to remind fans and travellers to be vigilant when overseas. Nonetheless, the actress didn’t let the incident spoil her Paris fashion week experience.
Dai Yanni was the leader of the Chinese girl group YEP Girls when they made their debut in 2016. She gained attention in 2020 when she participated in the survival show Youth With You 2. Although she failed to debut after ranking 20th place in the finals, she has gone on land roles in dramas such as The Blood of Youth, Love Forever Young and Fall In Love Again.
