Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin, 42, has made her first public appearance in months since confirming her second pregnancy earlier this year. The beloved star, known for her roles in It Started with a Kiss and In Time with You, has been keeping a low profile since she revealed in March that she was expecting baby number two. Now seven months along, Ariel was recently spotted at a gathering with celebrity friends.
The rare sighting came courtesy of Golden Melody winner Waa Wei. She shared a group photo on social media showing Ariel enjoying a meal at a Korean barbecue restaurant in Taipei. Joining her were seasoned host Matilda Tao and her daughter, singer-songwriters Lala Hsu, Peggy Hsu, and novelist Chang Man-chuan. With what looked like little to no makeup and a loose-fitting outfit, Ariel’s ever-youthful glow stole the spotlight and quickly began trending online.
Ariel married her non-celebrity husband Charles Lin in 2014. The couple already has a 3-year-old daughter, affectionately known as “Little Little Lin.” According to reports, Ariel began preparing for a second child in mid-2024 by focusing on her health. She successfully conceived despite being considered an advanced maternal age. The actress has paused all work engagements to focus on rest and prenatal care.
