Look what’s coming our way soon! Hospital Playlist fans, the spin-off series titled Resident Playbook is all set to make its way to screens on April 12. Resident life is what it’s all about in the newest addition to the Hospital Playlist franchise. As first-year OB/GYN residents can attest, life as a doctor in training is unpredictable, but never boring. Resident Playbook attempts to realistically capture residency life from the usual emergency chaos – think half eaten meals before rushing off for urgent calls to getting schooled and chewed out by their hospital seniors.
The show’s ensemble cast features Go Youn-jung whom you might have seen in the hit series Moving, Shin Si-a, Kang You-seok, Han Ye-ji and Jung Joon-won as the four young residents navigating their way through hospital drama and various challenges to become medical professionals.
In the lead up to the drama’s release, the show recently released a poster to give everyone another glimpse at the show’s group of frazzled first years. How will hospital newbie Oh Yi Young (Go Youn-Jung), fashionista Pyo Nam Kyung (Shin Si-a), idol turned doctor trainee Um Jae-il (Kang You-Seok) and the bookish Kim Sa-bi (Han Ye-Ji) survive resident doctor life? Perhaps seonbae Goo Do Won (Jung Joon Won) can help .. of course a dose of caffeine will go a long way too.
