In some baby news, it appears congratulations are in order for Wu Jinyan and her husband Hong Yao. The couple were recently papped pushing a baby pram as they left the hospital together.
Wu Jinyan and her hubby have always remained tight lipped about their personal life. Even news of their marriage last September took everyone by surprise. Given the unexpected nature of their union, there was speculation that she was pregnant as the 34-year-old actress has been spotted walking around with a pregnant belly multiple times. There were also reports that she’d given birth to her first child with actor Hong Yao – a daughter, in November 2024. Throughout this, however, the couple never addressed the speculation.
Fast forward to several months later, husband and wife were spotted at the hospital allegedly for a postpartum check-up. According to paparazzo named Melon Eating Girl Zhang Xiaohan (吃瓜少女張小寒), the actress was wearing an all black outfit with her tummy appearing flat as they were walking to meet up with their nanny who was pushing a pram. A female doctor then came to meet them, discussing what appeared to be postpartum recovery with the actress. The paparazzo further reports that the couple got into an elevator after having a short convo with the doctor. Three hours later, Hong Yao came out pushing a pram with their nanny beside him whilst his wife continued to discuss with the doctor before they left the hospital together.
It is reported that Wu Jinyan will be making her return to acting in April after starring in the hit series The Double in 2024.
