The rumourmill has recently speculated that Mandopop star JJ Lin may be in a relationship. However it appears not everyone is over the moon for him as some of his fans have announced they’re leaving the fandom over this development.
The 43-year-old star has been single for a very long time and there’s really no reason why folks shouldn’t be happy for him, let alone stop supporting him for this reason. Apparently, a Netizen claiming to be a longtime fan had written a very long post about it to express their disapproval. Some claim it’s for a different reason altogether – that he’s dating someone too young or that he wasn’t open to fans about it.
According to the rumours, the woman JJ is dating is supposedly Annalisa (七七), an internet celebrity 20 years his junior. But it looks like many of his fans weren’t too keen over his choice, and some even went so far as to say it’s unacceptable. Other also criticised him for being short-sighted, saying dating an internet celeb does more harm and is a disrespect to his fans who supported him through the years.
As a well-known idol singer, JJ Lin’s love life is naturally a topic that intrigued many. On February 10, Taiwanese news outlets report that his agency just issued a statement. They said, “We will not respond to any groundless rumors on the Internet. JJ’s life is still centered on his music career. Thank you for your concern! His current state is to take good care of his health and to recover from the cold as soon as possible.”
