Forget about going on a girl’s trip. Former beauty queen and actress Monica Chan was spotted going on a father and daughter’s trip to the UAE. The 58-year-old star known for her candid views on marriage has been embracing single life on her own terms. In recent years, she has been taking care of her dad, and it certainly looks like they’re enjoying quality time as a family. As her dad get older, it’s nice to see them both continuing to make more memories and exploring new places and cultures together.
For this year’s Chinese New Year holidays, Monica and Papa Chan jetted off to Abu Dhabi where the pair explored Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Palace, museums and a water park. They also went to see the vast desert of Dubai. Taking to social media to share some snippets of their visit, Monica and her dad can be seen posing for photos at the Grand Mosque. And how cute are they in matching burgundy and navy hoodies! Papa Chan, now in his 80s, was sporting a white beard and white hair with walking cane in hand. But he certainly looks very chic in his shades.
Monica Chan may not be as active in showbiz as before though her latest comeback was just in 2023’s Night Beauties. At 58, it’s easy to see why she won the Miss Hong Kong crown – she looks like those ladies who hardly aged at all and even manages to look super fresh under the heat of the Middle Eastern sun!
