Yoyo Chen, who recently turned 45, celebrated her special day with a birthday party attended by a number of celebrity friends. The Hong Kong actress proudly talked about her 14-year-old daughter, Wong Ching-kiu, who cooked her food and surprised her with a gift as she woke up, a drawing of of the two of them as little pigs since they had taken a similar photo in the past. However, husband Vincent Wong was noticeably absent from the occasion.
Yoyo Chen who rarely speaks about her husband responded to questions by the press and explained, “Everyone’s so busy because I’m often not in Hong Kong. He’s also so busy.” She did say “yes, yes” to confirm he had sent a text to greet her on her birthday. However, when asked whether the family of three could get together for a meal, she said, “This I really don’t know because we’re too busy. Tomorrow I fly to Australia for work.”
Yoyo Chen recently attended the filming ceremony of her new TVB drama Rose War in Shenzhen. She said that she wanted to work in different locations and it looks like her next stop, Australia, is just that.
