Keep Running Season 14 奔跑吧第14季 has been announced and is scheduled to premiere on Zhejiang TV on April 24, 2026. Filming has already begun in Haikou, Hainan. Like every season, the cast is the talk of the town, and this time around, Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui have “upgraded” as this season’s official members.
Keep Running 14 brings back its “old” members Li Chen and Zheng Kai, both of whom were present for all 14 seasons), along with Sha Yi. Bai Lu, Fan Chengcheng, Zhang Zhenyuan, and Song Yuqi are also back this season though the latter is temporarily unable to join filming due to an injury. Zhou Shen will not participate due to scheduling conflicts with his concert tour between April and June.
Meng Ziyi has been known for her variety show skills since winning over fans in Wonderland while Li Yunrui stands out for his athleticism. Their couple pairing from their hit drama Blossom has already warranted a reunion drama and their permanent stints in a new variety show is no doubt a treat for fans. However, some criticism has emerged over the reliance on their pairing as their fans have already been caught in fan wars in the past.
Nevertheless, it looks like the new season will pave the way for the return of fan-favorite games such as “Name Tag Tearing”, which is always fun to watch.

I’ll miss Zhou Shen. He’s always entertaining and I just love how funny and yet brave he is in these games! You’d never expect such a nice tiny guy to be so proactive yet he’s never backed down and always did he’s best; honestly I’d prefer the Keep Running cast to have more cast members like Zhou Shen, Bai Lu, and Sha Yi. Although all 3 aren’t super athletic they are inspirational to people of all ages who can see themselves in these cast members — You can win by smarts or using your size/speed if you aren’t Heman! Frankly its boring to watch super athletic people battle all the time as I’m no Olympic athlete and neither are my kids or their grandparents. Sha Yi is so clever in planning and he’s super funny, Bai Lu is cunning and quick to seize her perfect timings and also she’s funny too. I don’t look down on the other cast members … I just don’t see the general public being represented by them. I watch Keep Running to be inspired by folks who look like me finding ways to acheive wins.

You are wrong there. A big proportion of the general public see themselves in the other cast members. That’s why it’s so popular. There is someone for everyone. That’s why they bring in other guests. I would not miss Bai Lu if she quits the show.

You are right that from what I’ve read online the casting of Keep Running is always being discussed (which members are liked more or less, are more active or less, are missed or wanted onto the show, etc)… I guess I didn’t communicate clearly my point: that I personally find it inspiring to watch folks who *aren’t* athletic demonstrate clever ways to win tasks. I can see why Li Chen or Li Yunrui are popular, both have admiral physical prowess and both handle planning tasks well; I just see them as having bodies that the average person don’t have but perhaps aspire to (which can be healthy) but I see Zhou Shen, Bai Lu, Sha Yi (specifically past seasons more when he had more weight than now) as more representative of showing what people of average build can acheive when you put your heart and sporting spirit and smarts into winning now and that you don’t have to wait until you look like a Li Chen or Li Yunrui. Perhaps I see them as more couragous simply because at least in Hollywood anyone doing physical strenous tasks usually looks like a superhero on steriods. I feel Zhou Shen, Bai Lu, and Sha Yi show that the average person or even a below average physically person can succeed and shouldn’t give up; also they demonstrate good sportsmanship in showing how to lose gracefully when they do lose. I admire that as I think that’s not frequently shown, how to handle losing well. And everyone should learn it as we’ll all meet failures in life. I think Zhou Shen said on one of the programs: “I can lose, but I can’t give up.” And those are very powerful words that I don’t really see enough in programs here is the West.

I haven’t keep up with keep running for a few years now but I’ll miss Zhou Shen!

Just wanted to add onto the article… Yuqi actually has a concussion, a rather serious one that because she and her crew probably underestimated it sounds like they didn’t send her to the doctor until she was already having trouble walking and experiencing constant migraines… Now her company is reporting that she’s in the hospital under doctor supervison… I would be worried if she joined in the cast of this season in Keep Running. Many of the tasks and games would likely be too unsafe for her to participate in with a head injury. I’ve read of people very badly harming themselves from even just glancing blows to the head; usually the elderly but it can affect anyone of any age. Head injuries are nothing to underestimate. Praying for her safe recovery!!!
