Veteran actor Lee Lung-kei, 75, and his then fiancée Chris Wong, who is 36 years younger than him, have long been a hot topic for their relationship that some have dubbed a “grandfather–granddaughter romance” due to the age gap.
However, following her imprisonment in Hong Kong due to overstaying and Lee Lung-kei welcoming her with a bouquet of roses upon release in July 2025, rumors recently emerged that Chris was actually already married and has a child in Foshan.

In a recent media interview, Lee Lung-kei admitted that they are indeed broken up, stressing that he had been kept completely in the dark about her marriage. He revealed that after Chris returned to Foshan, the two gradually drifted apart, and they officially broke up after the Winter Solstice. Only then did he suddenly realize that he himself had been the third party. He said that after communicating with each other, he promised that he would not do anything foolish. They parted peacefully and will still keep in contact.
Lee Lung-kei said that when he escorted Chris back to the mainland after her release, he still did not know the truth and even had plans to get married. When asked whether he had been kept in the dark about Chris Wong’s marriage, he said that when you love someone, you should trust them. He had never asked about her marital status. Talking about how it felt to see Chris having a Winter Solstice meal with her real husband, Lee Lung-kei said frankly that it was very painful, but he did not blame her as she had brought him happiness for so many years.
Asked whether he felt sorry toward Chris’s husband and son, Lee Lung-kei repeatedly said, “No!” He emphasized that ignorance is not a crime, and that once he knew the truth, he would wish them happiness, a joyful family, and a happy life. He later became teary-eyed and said, “I’m fine, I’m OK!”

@Noname, if it’s only coming out now, I suspect they were in on it, paid off or were told to keep silent. if they were together for 5+ years, the husband/ex and son had plenty of time to expose the truth.
