Interest in the 26-year-old’s love life is at an all time high after a 27 minute audio clip of what is supposedly an argument between Dylan Wang Hedi and his girlfriend of ten years surfaced online. In it, a woman can be heard saying “I’ve been with you for ten years …”, sparking speculation that the pair have been dating secretly for a decade.
According to the Netizen who leaked the recording, she said the clip was recorded from outside the actor’s hotel room in Xinjiang. Now that it’s gone viral, Dylan Wang Hedi Studio released a statement condemning the stalking of sisheng fans who appear to have eavesdropped on a very private conversation. They also threatened legal action against the woman.
Pretending to be Single?
In her post, the Netizen angrily accused the actor of secretly dating whilst trying to maintain an image of being single to attract fans and advance his career prospects. Whilst some might agree with her sentiments, others pointed out that his decade long relationship could also be a testament of his devotion to his partner. Many have also said that he’s an actor not an idol (who supposedly aren’t allowed to be in relationships) so there shouldn’t be an issue if he’s dating anyone.
Since playing the role of Dongfang Qingcang in the drama Love Between Fairy and Devil in 2022, Dylan has seen his popularity skyrocket. That same year, it was revealed that the actor had been dating his girlfriend Liu Yi for 6 years though an online influencer claimed they’d already broken up. If the woman in the clip was indeed Liu Yi, fans who questioned the audio’s authenticity said both Dylan and Liu Yi are from Sichuan yet there was no trace of their accents and dialect in the 27 minute long recording.
Banned and Threatened with Legal Action
As for the “whistleblower”, many have criticised the woman for stalking and invading Dylan Wang’s privacy. Likewise, it also appears the woman’s account has already been banned for “violating community policy”. But that may soon be the least of her problems if faced with legal action as threatened by the actor’s team.
In their statement today, Wang Hedi Studio condemned the illegal invasion of his privacy whilst speaking out against stalking, harassment and other known behaviours of sisheng fans. They also said legal action will be taken. On a different note, Netizens pointed out that the statement did not comment about the actor’s relationship status and whether he is single or in a relationship.

he is most definitely an idol lol. he’s an idol turned actor, not the other way around lol.
but that being said, he seems like a good guy, and if he has a long term GF, great for him. if he does, he should be gracious enough to announce it. that’s better than living in terror of others exposing him. if it’s been a 6 year relationship, that’s more than sufficient time to be stable.
that being said, his privacy shouldn’t be invaded like this, living like this would make anyone paranoid and have trust issues. if I were him, I’d just straight up bombard my twitter with updates, so they can stop trying to gather dirt on me in order to exploit my privacy lol.

If it is true that this relationship is 10 years old, then they were together before he became a celebrity and when he was still in high school. Whether he chooses to go public or remain private is their business. You seem to forget that there are also the wishes of the other party. Nobody wants to be stalked, harassed, insulted or gossiped about just because he or she is in a relationship with a public figure. They also have their own family to worry about. Everybody knows for a certainty that this will (not ‘might’) happen. They might even be physically assaulted by some obsessed, demented, jealous fan.
I hope Dylan’s team goes all the way and hang that fan out to dry. These are not fans. They are just out to make money selling gossip. This is not a case of “I happened to overhear”; this is a case of deliberate stalking and secret tapping.
