Whilst chatting with fans recently, Chinese actress Hu Lianxin talked about how she’s appearing in another project and asked fans to continue their support. “I’m going to appear in a drama, please don’t shun me” she said. The 24-year-old actress who previously played Yang Mi’s sister Tushan Rongrong in Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact also expressed her gratitude towards her fans whilst she was at her lowest. “Thank you for saving me during the most difficult period of my life”.

Many are wondering if she was referring to the “scandal” due to the alleged clip of herself engaging in a very provocative chat that made headlines in 2024.
A 20 minute recording of an intimate video chat between a man and a woman who some claim to be Hu Lianxin from the woman’s body profile and the mole on her face, surfaced online. Adding further credence to the speculation was the actress’ sudden post on social media. “I hope that all women in their darkest moments and all victims in despair can be protected by justice.” Many assumed it was her ex-boyfriend who was behind the leak and many also encouraged her to file an incident with the police. Despite speculation that it could also be AI, the incident dealt a blow to her career. It has led to speculation that her resources have been “downgraded.” Hu Lianxin admitted that she’s currently in an adjustment period and shared her hopes to further grow her acting experience through her appearances.
