The party continues as newlyweds Michelle Wai and her aesthetic doctor husband Kenley Chau hold their second wedding banquet celebrating their love. After dating for two and a half years, the Hong Kong actress who just ushered in a recent hit with the film “The Last Dance” tied the knot in a star-studded church ceremony last February 16, 2025 that was also attended by the bigwigs from her agency Emperor Group. But the celebration didn’t end there. On the 16th March, Michelle and Kenley hosted another wedding celebration where the 40-year-old star said she followed all the traditional rituals. In fact, Michelle said she was totally looking forward to all the games when her groom and all his groomsmen come to gatecrash her home and pick her up.
Meanwhile, photos from the party shared by friends on social media showed the couple happily hamming it up for the cameras as they showed off their wedding rings or when they were giving each other a kiss. The radiant bride also showcased a few wedding looks, the most memorable of which was her all red evening gown paired with what looks to be a king’s ransom worth of gold jewellery. Think more than 10 pairs of dragon and phoenix bracelets coupled with multiple gold necklaces that even had Michelle cheekily describing herself as a “human-shaped gold bar”.
Other notable guests who were on hand to celebrate with the happy couple were good friends Carlos Chan and Shiga Lin who even took to the stage to serenade the newlyweds. Carlos, who is Michelle’s longtime bestie since their early days as struggling actors and who was also one of her bridesman, also joined the band in belting out the song Viva for the couple.
