Since going public with their relationship back in 2021, Taiwanese actor Wang Po-Chieh, 35, and his now ex Nikki Hsieh, 39, have always sparked all sorts of attention. Everyone loves a good love story and these two weren’t shy in expressing their love for each other. Nonetheless, rumours that they’ve broken up are nothing new. However it now turns out that the pair have indeed broken up after dating for three years. Taiwanese media also report that Nikki had already moved out of her ex’s house quietly. “I am doing well now and my mood is very calm. Thank you for your concern” said the actress through her agent earlier.
Although she didn’t respond directly to questions about her relationship with her ex, neither did she deny the rumours that they’ve already split. On hindsight, those looking closely may have gotten an inkling about their split. She shared recently that it’s been a few days since she’d last seen Cooper, her fur baby with Wang Po-Chieh. On the caption she said “I know you can live without me, but I can’t live without you”. Adding that after she said it, she felt quite stifled, she admitted it was the first time in her life that she uttered those words to another living being and that there won’t be another time. “What a useless sentence!” Kinda makes you think she might be alluding to something else doesn’t it.
Nikki Hsieh and Wang Po-Chieh fell in love on the set of the Netflix series Light the Night which featured Cheryl Yang and Ruby Lin before making things official in April 2021. It’s reported that the former couple lived together and PR materials were also sent to the same place. However Nikki suddenly changing her address sparked speculation of a split. And the fact that the pair no longer follow each other also gives credence to the rumour.
