Born in 2000, Li Gengxi now joins Wendy Zhang Zifeng as one of the critically acclaimed young actresses in Chinese cinema. Her performance as Ling Min in Viva La Vida earned her this prestigious honor, but critics argue her previous work in dramas, particularly as the female lead in Sword Snow Stride, fell short of expectations, sparking mixed reactions to her win.
