Kent Tong Gets Emotional at Daughter's Wedding, with Blessings from 'Five Tiger Generals' Friends

Kent Tong has been in the industry many decades since rising to fame as a popular actor in the 1980s, earning the title of one of Hong Kong’s “Five Tiger Generals” from back then. Nowadays, the 66-year-old actor is known for taking on elderly roles in Chinese dramas. Kent Tong is also recognized for his large family that he supports, with six children in total: a daughter and twin sons with his first wife, former ATV actress Keung Kwan, a son from another relationship, and twin daughters with his current wife, Qingdao native Zou Wenjing (邹文静).

The proud father was definitely emotional at his eldest daughter Isabella Tong Hoi Ka’s (Ai Jia) wedding held on October 20. During the ceremony, Kent Tong’s youngest daughter took the stage to give a touching speech to address her eldest sis, which moved Kent Tong to tears.

The wedding was a reunion of sorts for fans of veteran Hong Kong stars. Many of Kent’s celebrity friends attended, such as actress Carina Lau, whose husband, Tony Leung, though not present was also a “Five Tiger General” alongside Michael Miu. Carina took to social media to say, “Congratulations to Kent on becoming a father-in-law.” Fellow “Five Tiger General” Andy Lau appeared in a video message to congratulate the couple. Additionally, celebrity couple Kenneth Ma and his wife Roxanne Tong, the daughter of Kent’s brother Tong Chun Chung, were also present.
