Justin Huang Minghao Ranks Second in Yue Hua Entertainment’s KPI—No Surprise Who’s the Agency’s Top Artist

Justin Huang Minghao Second in Yue Hua Entertainment's KPI Standings, But #1 Is No Mystery

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes in a talent agency? Yue Hua Entertainment’s new show Arena of Youth 年轻的战场 promises just that and so much more. Aside from getting to pick the brain of Yue Hua boss Du Hua, nothing seems to be off limits for the most part since even the artists’s KPI rankings are discussed.

Justin Huang Ranks Second in His Agency’s KPI Rankings

As it turns out, Justin Huang Minghao ranks second when it comes to rankings based on contributions earned. Du Hua says most of Yue hua’s artists have been with them since they were kids so she’s very fond of them all. When she first met Justin who was only 12 or 13-years-old at the time, she recalls how he stood just 1.3 or 1.4 metres tall. Now 22 years old, it has been six years since Justin Huang debuted as part of the C-pop boy group NEXT in 2018, around ten in total if we count his days as a trainee.

The Yue Hua crew added that although Justin Huang has spent majority of half the year working on dramas, his KPI stats have definitely gone up significantly from last year. In 2023, he was only at 37.62%. But in 2024 however, his stats made a huge leap up to 63% signifying just how hard he’s been working this year outside of filming on set. After all, he’s a multi-hyphenate talent—singing, dancing, acting, and hosting.

Wang Yibo’s Dominance in the Rankings

Unsurprisingly, Wang Yibo, who has always been known as the top star at his agency, received the highest marks. His KPI for this year’s projects is already close to 90%. At one point during the show, Du Hua dismissively said there was no need to report on Wang Yibo and added, “No comparison, no harm,” implying that his achievements are so outstanding that it’s better not to compare them.

His Survival Show Journey: From South Korea to China

Justin Huang Minghao is a dab hand in survival shows, having competed in South Korea’s Produce 101 pre-debut and again in China’s Idol Producer with agency team mate Zhu Zhengting. Justin placed 4th overall, securing himself a spot in the boy group Nine Percent. He is currently a member of NEXT and has kept busy with numerous acting projects and reality shows.
