Up next for a premiere on October 8, 2024 is Go Back Lover 再见怦然心动 set to air on Tencent and Youku. Starring Li Yunrui whom we last saw as the second lead in The Last Immortal and Xu Ruohan who perennially exudes “the girl next door” vibes as the drama’s main couple, the pair gradually develops feelings for each other after living under the same roof and attending the same classes. Proximity builds propinquity right?
During the second semester of sophomore year, Shen Xingruo (Xu Ruohan) moves in with her dad’s old friend Lu Shan and his family after transferring back to Xingcheng Mingli High School. There she’s classmates with Lu Shan’s son Lu Xingyan (Li Yunrui). Though their relationship started off on the wrong foot, they soon begin to have feelings for each other. But it looks like Go Back Lover is literally about a “lovers reunited” type of story as the couple break up and reunite in 2024.
Now if their story is not one to your liking, worry not because the modern drama promises to have not just one, not two but potentially four couple pairings for fans to choose from.
