If there’s anything drama fans would love to see, it’s a reunion of their favourite characters in real life. This week, longtime fans of the wuxia series Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber are in for a treat seeing that some of its stars are all together in one place supporting Alec Su. The former teen idol and pop star returns to his musical roots after nearly three decades away with his ongoing concert tour Crossing the Multiverse. With the tour taking him all over China, it’s also the perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
”Reunited again after 22 years” captioned actress Chen Zihan who played Zhu Er in the 2002 hit. The actress was spotted singing along in the audience as she waved her glow stick with her pretty Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber co-stars Gao Yuanyuan and Malaysian actress Florence Tan. There may have also been a wee bit of screaming, cheering and even some tears involved as they looked on proudly at their “big bro Alec”. Hard to believe it has been 22 years since we saw them all together yet it’s lovely to see them enjoying their mini reunion as they support their co-star. All they need now is for Alyssa Chia to suddenly appear to make their quartet of beauties complete!
Luckily for fans, Chen Zihan didn’t forget to share snippets from their reunion on social media. Aaand, also spotted hanging out with the HSaDS crew are actors Jin Han and Darren Wang.
